I wanted to say to all of you that I am saddened by Byron’s passing. I know it must be tough on all of you. Having worked with Byron during his years here at WSCC I could not ask for a better boss, he was more a mentor to me. He taught me so many things that helped me in my career. I can honestly say I am where I am now because of him and I am truly thankful to him for that. He was very proud of his family and all their accomplishments. Knowing Carissa from her time at WSCC and coaching Alesha and Tasha in softball I could see how proud he was of his kids and how well they were brought up. I am sorry that I will be unable to attend the memorial service as I have to attend to my wife’s post-surgery care.
Just know that my prayers are with you all in this time of mourning. Wednesday night at 6:00 I will open a beer and drink a toast to a great boss and friend.
God Bless you all, Don Madison
