Stephen Andrew Dixon, 60, of Marietta passed away July 6, 2018 at Heartland of Marietta following an extended illness.

Steve was born on March 24, 1958 in Parkersburg, WV and was the son of James Bert Dixon II and Naomi W. Lemon Dixon, both of Parkersburg.

Steve lived his early years in Vienna, Barlow and moved to Marietta, where He graduated from Marietta High School and then attended Marshall University on a diving scholarship. He had worked for BF Goodrich, Huntsman and retired from Chevron after twenty-six years with the company. In the 1980's - 90's he performed as Ronald McDonald for many McDonald franchises in Ohio and West Virginia. He had enjoyed and preformed magic for many years and pursued that interest full time following retirement from Chevron. He had the privilege of performing at the White House, The Greenbrier and the Kentucky Derby. Steve used his magic to share his Christian faith in Children's Ministry, drug and alcohol programs and anti-bullying campaigns. He had performed at many local restaurants, festivals and with various prison ministries. As a magician, he was a member of the Magic Ring #97 for several years. He always enjoyed art and was very creative, painting and air brushing cars and musical instruments.
