My uncle Jack was a dear, sweet person. I have a set of Architectural Design tools as well as a drawing book he gifted me. His father, Hillis Iams, was my grandfather's brother, but he was always "Uncle" to me. My mother and I had planned to go visit him last year for his birthday but we were unable to go. Rest in peace, Jack. Love you, you are missed.

I first met Jack about 60 years ago when I was a student at Marietta College and joined Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. I've had more contact with him in recent years as a Sig alumnus, the last time while in Marietta for Homecoming this October. Over the years he sent me old fraternity pictures and kept me informed about things and brothers in and around Marietta that he thought I should know about. He will be missed by many of his brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi and others.

I had the privilege of knowing Jack for 21 yrs. we traveled the world together. He was a loyal friend; I always enjoyed the humerus news articles he would clip and out in the mail to me. I will miss the trips to Marrietta. Miss you Jack!
