I’m so sorry to read of Katherine’s passing. She and I hung out in high school and had some fun times. And adventitious times too. We skipped school one day, the only time I ever did and I got caught! Lol! She would come by the in class suspension room and laugh at me. She was so cool and we had really great times together. I ran into her several years ago when I came home for a visit and I was so happy to see her. Katherine May be gone, but I’ll never forget her. Peace and love to her sisters.

She will be surely missed. One of the kindest ladies we have been privileged to know. She is in a better place. Bless you all.

Dear Ann & Joan (Cissy),
My family lived nextdoor to yours in Devola, and Katherine & I hung out at yours or my house almost daily. I have very fond memories of Katherine & your family: washing, brushing, & riding Babe & braiding her mane-we rode her bareback with 3-4 kids on her sometimes!; feeding & petting Sinari; riding our bicycles with rope tied onto the handle bars like reins; raking leaves & jumping in them; raking up grass into nests, pretending we were birds; having my first sip of champagne on your mom's birthday; smoking my first cigarette (we stole Joyce's!); all the neighborhood kids climbing & picking apples out of your tree; finding Winnie-the-Pooh characters for Cissy's corner wall in your room... Such fun! I saw Katherine at our 40th high school reunion and we reminisced. She was so creative & had a great imagination and I am very grateful we were childhood friends! My love to you both...

Katherine was truly one of a kind. I always enjoyed our conversations! She will forever be the “ambassador of front street” to me. Prayers to you all during this difficult time.
