Bonita "Bonnie" Sue Cronin

Bonita "Bonnie" Sue Cronin, a beloved member of the Marietta community, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on September 6, 1946, in Marietta, Ohio, Bonnie was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Donald Owen Greene and Nola Ilene Barnhart Greene, her devoted husband, William Wayne Cronin, her cherished daughter, Rose Coletto, and her brothers, Brian Greene and Doug Greene. Despite these profound losses, Bonnie's spirit remained resilient and her heart full of love.

She is survived by her son, Michael Smith, and his wife, Jessica, who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. Bonnie was a devoted grandmother to Michael Scott (Jaelyn) and Samantha Witham (Casey), and a doting great-grandmother to Asher, Aiden, and Aliyah, who brought endless happiness to her days.

Bonnie is also survived by her brother, Randy Greene, and his wife, Debbie, as well as her sisters, Peggy Fleming and Joyce Greene. Her extended family includes many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Bonnie's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.
