D. Annette Bonar, 71, of Marietta, died Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 22, 1943, in Marietta, to Bill and Mildred Schwendeman Arnold. Annette was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Marietta and was a shipping clerk for many years at the Airolite Company. She was a member of The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd C. Bonar, whom she married on April 10, 1967, her mother, of Marietta, three children, Darren Bonar of Marietta, Monica Farnsworth (Bubba) of Marietta, and Celeste Parsons (Robert) of Fleming, six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Andy and Ashley Farnsworth, Bobby, Josh and Aaron Holland, seven brothers, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with The Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to The Basilica Restoration Fund, 506 Fourth Street, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
