Donald Joseph Muir

At first the blue eyes became dull. He couldn’t remember people’s names and that progressed to many other things that he could not recall. The muscles became stiff making it difficult to walk and subsequently impossible to walk. Donald Joseph Muir died on October 15, 2025, from Parkinson’s Disease with Dementia.

Don was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 28, 1959, to John William Muir and Joann Yost Muir. He was a car salesman for most of his life. Don last worked as such at Summer’s Motors and Pioneer GMC in Marietta.

Don most enjoyed playing Rock n Roll music on his white Rickenbacker bass guitar. The most recent group he played with was Generations Rock.

Don was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his dear lady, Dr. Mary Gerst, two brothers and two sisters.

As per his wishes, Don will be cremated and his remains “placed in the ground”. There will be no further services at this time.
