Dorothy Louise Gray, 82, of Lowell, died Monday, December 5, 2011, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Zanesville. She was born October 29, 1929 in Limestone, TN to Hugh and Fannie Fellers Humphreys. She had worked as an LPN at Marietta Memorial Hospital for ten years. She was a Methodist by faith. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. Louise had volunteered for many years at the O'Neill Senior Center where she ran Friday Night Bingo for 20 years. She also volunteered for the Lowell Octoberfest for many years and had been parade marshall. She had been a tour guide for bus trips and delivered Meals on Wheels. Louise is survived by her two daughters, Joan Imboden of Largo, FL and Debbie Kurz (Carl) of Lexington, KY and her son, Steve Gray (Christine) of Zanesville, also by five grandsons, Chris Imboden (Sheena) of Orlando, FL, Nicholas Gray of Douglasville, GA, Alex Gray of Ada,OH, Ryan Kurz of Lexington and Kevin Kurz of Lexington, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Louis E. Gray, brother, Dutchie Humphreys and sister, Kate Setser. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011, at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home.
