Faye Louise Lang Treadway, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at her home. Born on October 19, 1957 to Lewis J. and Audrey Lang in Marietta, Faye lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to her family and community.

Faye was a proud graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1976. She dedicated 26 years as a Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor at Washington State College of Ohio, retiring in 2023. Her commitment to her work and her community was evident in all she did. A devout member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Faye was actively involved as a member of the Catholic Women's Club. She was a member of the Master Gardeners in Marietta, Ohio. Her passions included gardening, baking, crafting, and most importantly, spending cherished moments with her family and grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Faye is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Dale Treadway, whom she married on October 30, 1976. She leaves behind her children, Audrea Treadway and Joshua Treadway (Nicole), and her adored grandchildren, Raegan Cadence and Orion Pax. Faye is also survived by her siblings, Lewis R. Lang (Patty), Romona Barrett, Bonnie Seyler, Gale Lang (Sandra), and Darlene Seyler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Betty May Becker and Donna Jean Sturm, and her beloved dog, Buckeye.

A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Marietta, Ohio, on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. David Gaydosik officiating. A graveside service will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at the MARIETTA CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m. A Rosary service will follow at 8 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made in Faye's name to St. John’s Catholic Church, 17784 OH 676, Marietta, OH.
