Gloria L. Finn, 90, of Marietta, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at her residence. She was born January 22, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA to James and Madeline Shaver Corbett. Gloria was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and an art school in Pittsburgh. She had been a decorator at Fenton Art Glass for many years, being a very sought after artist by Fenton collectors. She continued to pursue her passion for art, especially floral water colors, by getting together with her art friends, and painting often. She was also an avid bridge player, belonging to several bridge clubs, until very recently. Gloria was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marietta. She is survived by a son, Kevin Finn (Debbie) of Marietta, two daughters, Karin Finn of Youngstown and Beth Schwendeman (Mark) of Marietta, four grandchildren, Amanda and Derek Finn and Emilee and Jillian Schwendeman, a brother, James Corbett, of Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews. There will be a committal service held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2016, in the chapel at East Lawn Memorial Park. At 3:00 p.m. there will be a service at Glenwood Retirement Community, conducted by the Rev. Craig Butler. Following that service, the family will greet friends at a reception, at Glenwood, celebrating Gloria's life. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bernard Finn and a sister, Virginia Hahner.
