Heidi Louise Fischer

Heidi Louise Fischer died on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at her residence in Barlow, Ohio. Born on February 16, 1953, in Liverpool, New York.

Heidi was a proud graduate of Liverpool High School, Class of 1972. She spent her career in retail sales, working at Woolworth, Hills, and Par-Mar, where she was known for her warm smile and helpful nature. Her passion for shopping was well-known among her friends and family, and she always had an eye for finding the perfect gift or bargain.

A woman of faith, Heidi was a devoted Methodist who found strength and comfort in her beliefs. Her faith guided her in her later life and was a source of solace in her final days. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Heidi is survived by her sons, Robert "Bob" Fischer (Jen) and John Fischer (Christy). She was a grandmother to William, Kristopher (Lydia), Elizabeth, Madelyn, and Bailey. Heidi is also survived by her brother, Carl Ritter.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Carl Fischer, her parents, John and Eleanor C. Ritter, and her brother, Robert Ritter.

In Lieu of flowers or remembrance, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church, located at 301 4th St., Marietta, OH 45750 or the Marietta Senior High School Band Boosters, 115 Academy Dr., Marietta, OH 45750.

A direct cremation will take place.
