James "Mike" Michael Mcnutt

James “Mike” Michael McNutt passed away on Oct 21, 2024 at his long time family home on Front St. in Marietta which once belonged to his grandmother Ella, whom he treasured for all of his days. He spent many years lovingly restoring her home and honoring her memory. He was born on February 27, 1951 to Ruth and James McNutt in Marietta, Ohio.

He was a 4th generation bricklayer by trade for most of his life and took great pride in everything that he built. He was an artist, loved music and played guitar his entire life. He passed his musical love onto his family, along with his treasured guitar.

Mike is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughters, Tara (Todd), Jessica (Leon), and Meagan (Andy); grandchildren, Dakota (Candace) and Cheyenna (Nick); and great grandsons Owen and Reece. He is also survived by his sister Debbie (Doug), his brother Jason, his faithful loving kitty, Romeo, who never left his side, as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

His orneriness will be deeply missed by his loving wife and family.

Following the wishes of his family, Mike will be cremated with no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the local humane society in his honor.
