Jane Elizabeth Page, a beloved member of the Marietta, Ohio community, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on Friday, November 13, 1953, in West Islip, New York, Jane lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to others.
Jane was a graduate of West Islip High School. She then dedicated her professional life to Marietta City Schools serving as a secretary for Marietta Elementary School, Harmar Elementary School, and North Hills Elementary School. She truly enjoyed working with the children and was a notable figure in the school community. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Jane was a devoted mother and grandmother, survived by her loving children: daughters Courtney (Greg Kise), Kelleigh, and Jennifer Page, and her son William Page and his wife Amanda, whom she loved as a daughter. Her grandchildren, Caleb, Kadence, Kouper, Brilynn, Amelia, and Molly, were the light of her life, bringing her immense joy and pride. She is also survived by her brothers Steve Jansen (Dinx) and Paul Jansen (Lynn), and her sisters-in-law Ann Christensen (Bob), Carol Page, Susan Cooper (Phil), Jeanne Whittekind (Dave), and Paula Binkley. Jane was a cherished aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, William "Bill" Nelson Page Jr. whom she married on July 12, 1975. She is also preceded by her parents Russell and Lorraine Becker Jansen and her brother-in-law Rocky Binkley.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the MARIETTA CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOME in Marietta, Ohio, on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 4 to 7 pm. Friends and family are invited to gather and bring a picture or special memory from Jane's remarkable life to add to the family's remembrance box.
Memorial donations may be made to Marietta City Schools Lady Tigers Athletics, 111 Academy Drive, Marietta, OH 45750, in Jane's honor.
