Jeanine Estia Carpenter

Jeanine Estia Carpenter, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on September 22, 1952, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Ellis and Anna McDonald Craddock, Jeanine was a cherished resident of Marietta, Ohio, where she spent her later years surrounded by family and friends.

Jeanine attended St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, Connecticut, and later pursued her passion for beauty by attending hair dressing school. She dedicated many years to her work in housekeeping at Marietta Memorial Hospital, where she was known for her kindness and dedication. Jeanine had a love for reading, spending time with her family, and playing Solitaire. She was also an avid baker, delighting her loved ones with her delicious creations. Jeanine will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.

She is survived by her devoted son, Joe Carpenter, and her treasured grandchildren: Zachary Watson, Gaden Carpenter, Gage Carpenter, Aleah Carpenter, Brier Jemison, and Willow Jemison. Jeanine also leaves behind her loving siblings, Mary Ann Benton, Kevin Craddock, and Siobhan Finke, as well as her cherished cat, Snow, and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved grandchild, Leah Carpenter.

A graveside service to honor Jeanine's life will be held at New St. Mary's Cemetery in Marietta, Ohio, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. Edward Maxfield officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of many.
