Jerry Gene Caseman

January 19, 1936 — December 21, 2016

Jerry G. Caseman, 80, of Williamstown, lost his battle with cancer, Wednesday, December 21, 2016. He was born January 19, 1936 in Marietta, he was a son of the late Orville and Beulah Burchett Caseman.

Surviving are his children, Brian Caseman (Teresa) of Waverly, WV, Dee Betzing (Kevin) of Marietta and Trina Yost (Craig) of Cutler; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and his twin brother, Larry Caseman of Belpre. Also, Jerry is survived by his loving companion Evelyn Morin of Williamstown.

He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Louise Ward Caseman on October 28, 2006. They were married June 7, 1959. Also preceding him in death were a brother Wilbur Caseman and a sister Regina McIntosh.

Jerry enjoyed restoring antique automobiles, woodworking and later the art of wine making. He also enjoyed his family and the many wonderful friends in his life.

Jerry's family will greet friends at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Friday, December 23rd from 5-7 pm. Following cremation, his ashes will be interred at East Lawn Memorial Park.

His family would like to continue the fight against cancer in his honor by suggesting that memorials may be directed to the Strecker Cancer Center, P. O. Box 97, Marietta, OH 45750.
