Jesse "Hoppy" RoarkJesse "Hoppy" Roark, Sr., 76, of Bartlett went to be with the Lord in his home on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was born on April 2, 1937 in Greenup, KY to Clarence and Lona Risner Roark. He had worked at Anchor Hocking and was a farmer. Hoppy is survived by his wife, Kathie Smith Roark, eight children, Kathy (Richard) Deal, Robin (Herb) Horn, Jesse, Jr. (Georgie) Roark, James (Bridgette) Roark, Shawna Smith, Todd (Ashley) Roark, Kelly (Jorge) Gutierrez , Brandon (Danielle) Roark, 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sister, Ruby Ward, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and two sisters. Hoppy touched many lives, we will miss him greatly, and love him always. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, 2013, at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home (11 White Oak Woods Dr., Vincent), with the Rev. Jack Berry officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at the family farm. Donations may be made to the Wesley Township VFD, P.O. Box 92, Bartlett, OH 45713.
