Jo Frances Brown

April 4, 1934 — January 12, 2012

Jo Frances Cole Brown of Lowell, died on January 12, 2012. She was born in McMinn County, TN. She retired from the medical/surgical unit of Lake County Memorial Hospital in Painesville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Tommy Combs, and her second husband of 22 years, George Brown, her parents, Pearl Sylvester and Van Dora Hughes Cole, four sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Combs Oeland and her husband, Devin, of Moorpark, CA and Tammy Combs of Painesville, her granddaughters, Emma and Eryn Oeland of Moorpark, her sister, Mary Ellen Cole Alvis of Blountville, TN and loving nieces and nephews. A special remembrance to Paul and Vi Tullius of Lowell. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association. There will be a celebration of her life and reception at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11, 2012, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial of her ashes will be in Waterford Cemetery.
