Joseph Eugene Del Zotto (Joe) peacefully passed away on June 26, 2026.

He was born on August 30th, 1955, in Toronto, Canada to parents, Gino and Celestina Del Zotto. He is survived by his wife, Mary Del Zotto, having a loving and cherished relationship of 44 years. He is additionally survived by children, Amanda, Joseph (wife Tahira) and Anthony (Fiancée Olivia), brother Dino, and countless cousins and friends that all loved him. His recent pride and joy being his seven-month-old granddaughter, Amira Celeste Del Zotto. He will also be missed by his best friend since elementary school, Joe Fazari.

Joe was always full of life and love. Always having a commanding presence and a hearty laugh.

He was a generous and kind man. Joe loved people, hunting, fishing and cars! He shared this love with his children and friends. He also loved sports and was the captain of his high school football team. He graduated with an economics degree in 1977 and launched a successful construction company, where he went on to build schools and shopping malls around the country. After starting a family, he decided to pursue his passion of medicine and entered medical school at 38 years old. Joe was board certified in Internal and Emergency Medicine. He successfully started several other companies with a focus on hospital staffing and consulting, utilizing his experience in medicine. Amongst his numerous accomplishments, his greatest are attributed him being a loving husband to his wife, and an amazing father to his children and granddaughter.

Abiding Joe’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
