June Marie Fish Hinton, 84, passed away, July 14, 2015, at her residence. She was born February 1, 1931 in Waterford to Perley and Jessie Lucas Riley Fish. She had attended Beverly schools and graduated from American School in Chicago, IL. She married the love of her life, Bernard C. Hinton, on May 15, 1947 and were married for 58 years before his death on September 20, 2005. June had a career that included working at Ford Data Processing, Marietta College, and retiring from Kardex Systems in 1990. She was a member of the Tabor Ridge Church of Christ and American Legion Auxiliary, Unit #750 in Lowell. June was a gifted seamstress and loved reading and learning. Her passions were her family and her companions, Molly, Garfield, and Cinnamon. She was always supportive of her family and helped them achieve their goals any way she could. June and Bernard were the proud parents of four children, Bernard Neil Hinton (Vicki), Beverly June Hinton Strickler, Larry Ray Hinton (Sharon) and Brenda Kay Hinton Duffy (Brian), ten grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, in laws, Eileen Carrel, Dorothy McKown, Charlotte Cantwell (Greg), James Hinton (Nancy), Roberta Fish and Iona Fish, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters, and son in law, William Strickler. Funeral services will be held at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home at noon on Saturday, July 18, 2015, with Evangelist Sam Bungard officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Donations may be made to Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, P.O.
