Kenny Lewis Huck passed away peacefully, surrounded by his daughters, on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the age of 78. He was most recently a resident of Marietta, Ohio, but much of his life was as a resident of Lowell, Ohio. Kenny was a gentle soul and was known for his unwavering faith, quiet strength, exceptional craftsmanship, and deep love for his family and friends.

Kenny was born on January 8, 1948, to Herbert and Clara (Bauerbach) Huck. He was raised on the family farm in Lowell as the youngest of thirteen children. He graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1965 and served in the Army National Guard.

On November 13, 1971, he married the love of his life, Patricia “Pat” (Pugh) Huck. Together they built a beautiful home and raised their four daughters.

Kenny previously owned and operated Double H Barns and built roughly 350 storage barns in the area. He dedicated more than two decades to the masonry profession, most of which was for Lang Masonry, where he earned the respect of coworkers for his work ethic and craftsmanship and was affectionately known as “Dad.” He was honored to be inducted into Lang Masonry’s first Hall of Fame in 2023, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the company.

Whether he was building something in his workshop, tending to the garden, fishing, or playing cards around the table with family, Kenny found joy in life’s simple moments. Kenny’s time spent with grandchildren and monthly lunches with his siblings was especially precious to him. Most recently, Kenny was a member of North Hill Baptist Church, where he made many good friends.

Above all, Kenny considered his greatest blessings to be his faith, his family, and the life he shared with Pat. The lessons he taught through quiet example, hard work, humility, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the generations who were blessed to know him.

Kenny is survived by his four beloved daughters: Jo-el Meyer (Doug) of Stafford, VA, Shelly Arnold (Brian) of Cincinnati, OH, Amy Rodriguez (Adrian) of Loveland, CO, and Kathleen "Katie" Huck (Brian Shackleford) of Parkersburg, WV. He was a proud grandfather and known as Pap to 12 grandchildren: Justine, Lauren, and Peyton Meyer; Clara, Brady, Brock, and Ruby Arnold; Ryan and Jeremiah Rodriguez; Emily Snyder (Cameron McCoy), Quinn Snyder Ramirez, and Grant Snyder. Kenny also leaves behind three cherished great-granddaughters: Kameryn Plants, Jasmine Ramirez, and Keedyn McCoy, all of Vienna, WV.

Kenny is also survived by his brothers Virgil Huck, Max Huck, and Neil Huck (Joyce), his sisters Lillian Schilling, Grace Randolph, and Evelyn Arnold (Ken), and brother-in-law Bob Schwendeman, along with many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, his siblings Joseph Huck, Bertha Huck, Bobby Huck, Jeanette Schwendeman, Jerome “Jerry” Huck, and Marian Stalter, father- and mother-in-law Roy and Hazel Pugh, and several other family members from both the Huck and Pugh families.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kelli Cawley for her exceptional care as well as to the Cawley Hospice team for the compassionate care, comfort, and dignity they provided to Kenny.
