Larry Earl Barger

September 27, 1950 — March 21, 2019

Larry Earl Barger, 68, of Marietta, Ohio, went Home to be with the Lord and his parents on March 21, 2019. He was born on September 27, 1950 in Akron, Ohio, to the late Richard L. and Frances V. Greathouse Barger.

Larry was a 1968 graduate of Fort Frye High School and received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Following graduation, he started his own business, Practical Business Systems, Inc., in Columbus, Ohio. Larry was an avid OSU fan and had his black belt in karate.

He is survived by his sisters, Patricia L. Ryder of Marietta and Sandra K. Leasure (Norbert) of Circleville, Ohio; niece, Nanette McIntosh (Andy) of Marietta; and great nephews who meant the world to him, Tyler McIntosh (Sheelan) of Parkersburg, WV and Tanner McIntosh (Jacobie) of Newburgh, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Pastor Myron Guiler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell. Family will greet friends for two hours prior to the services on Tuesday.
