Lea Alice Webb, 70, of Marietta, Ohio, died Thursday, October 19, 2017, in Marietta. She was born on September 26, 1947 in Marietta, to George W. and Janet Fleming Rumbold.
Lea was a 1965 graduate of Marietta High School and received her LPN in 1976 from Washington Technical College. She was a nurse for many places over the years but enjoyed most working for Quality of Life Home Care, retiring from there in 2008. She attended Gilman United Methodist Church. Lea loved to cook and bake, especially for her family.
She was survived by her husband, Larry E. Webb, whom she married on June 17, 1967; three children, Larry Webb, Jr., (Shelly) of Beverly, Ohio, Tammy Evans (Scott) of Big Bear Lake, California, and Laurel Webb Sims of Lima, Ohio; five grandchildren, Ethan, Ellery, and Emery Webb, Marshal Mueller, and Christian Sims; sister, Kay Pettit of Charlotte, North Carolina; brother, George Rumbold of Hollywood, South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents.
Abiding with her wishes, she has been cremated and a celebration of her life will be announced at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to hospice or to the Strecker Cancer Center.
