Marilyn Jeannette Snyder, 69, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on August 21, 1956, in Marietta, Ohio to Harold and Regina Morris Tornes, Marilyn was a cherished resident of Vincent, Ohio, where she spent her life nurturing her family and community.

Marilyn was a proud graduate of Waterford High School, Class of 1974. Her career was marked by dedication and service, having worked as a school cook in the Warren Local School district, where she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues.

A devout member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Marilyn's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was also known for her entrepreneurial spirit, having sold Avon products for over twenty years. Her hobbies included crocheting, quilting, and cooking, and she found immense joy in traveling to the beach. Above all, Marilyn cherished her role as "Nana," spending precious time with her grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and devotion to her family and community will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Steve Snyder; her children, Stephanie Munoz (Ruben), Shannon Reynolds (Shawn), and Matthew Snyder (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Dylan, Curtis, Laken, Lucas, and Damian; and her great-grandson, Kason. She is also survived by her brother, Regis Tornes (Marsha), her step-mother, Ramona Tornes, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
