Mary Margaret Warren

Mary Margaret Warren, a beloved member of the Vincent, Ohio community, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on November 9, 1949, in Marietta, Ohio, Mary was a cherished sister, friend, and caregiver whose life was marked by her dedication to helping others.

Mary was a proud graduate of the Class of 1968 from Fort Frye High School. She pursued a career in nursing, earning her LPN and dedicating her life to caring for those in need. Her compassionate nature was evident in her work at various retirement homes in the area. Mary had a special gift for working with individuals with disabilities, and her kindness and empathy touched the lives of many.

A devout member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Little Hocking, Ohio, her faith and community involvement were central to her life and she found great joy in serving others. She also had a deep love for her cats. She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her dedication to her faith and community, and her love for her family and animals. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her loving brother, Michael Warren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Warren, her mother, Betty Lou Smith, and her step-father, Norman Smith.

A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5080 School House Road, Little Hocking, Ohio 45742 on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow in East Lawn Memorial Park, 27880 OH-7, Marietta, Ohio 45750.

Memorial Donations may be sent to the Humane Society of the MOV, located at 90 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
