Maysel E.  McCutcheon Williams

Maysel Elizabeth McCutcheon Williams, 77, formerly of Marietta, OH, passed away after a brief illness on January 12, 2024 in Lexington, SC.   The daughter and youngest child of the late Harvey C. and Mary E. (Stahlman) McCutcheon born on August 17, 1945.  She was the widow of Robert Williams.

Maysel, also known as Beth and Tink, was very much loved by her family and friends.  She was Methodist by faith.  She graduated from Warren High School and retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.   She is survived by her siblings Ann Matthews and Joe McCutcheon, her nieces and nephews Mike Matthews, Lila (Scot) Kaneff, Shane (Lisa) McCutcheon, Heather (Mark) Krugman, Misty (Jim) Myers, and Tony McCutcheon and their families.  Maysel was preceded in death by brother Jerry McCutcheon, brother-in-law Jim Matthews, sister-in-law Jaunita McCutcheon, nephew Tim Matthews, and niece Tammi Life.

In following Maysel’s wishes she was cremated and will be buried in a private ceremony.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home.
