Marietta

Nancy Carole Wiblin-Ward, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on June 7, 1938, in Parkersburg, WV to the late Clarence Edward Winans and Florence Rogers Winans. Nancy was a cherished resident of Marietta, Ohio, where she spent many fulfilling years surrounded by family and friends.

A proud graduate of Parkersburg High School, Nancy pursued a career in accounting, working for Kardex. Her professional life was marked by dedication and precision, qualities that she carried into her personal life as well. Nancy was an active member of the 6th & Washington Street Church of Christ, Red Hat Club and generously volunteered her time at Marietta College as a Foster Parent. While volunteering at the college, she was also a passionate supporter of their sports teams. She enjoyed watching all sports and if one of her grandchildren had a game she would be there to support them rain or shine. Her love for sports was matched only by her love for reading, a pastime she enjoyed throughout her life. Nancy's memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

She is survived by her son Jim Wiblin (Vicki), with their children, daughter Courtney Wiblin Albrecht (Jeremy) with their children, Stella, Evelyn and Scarlett Albrecht; daughter Kylee Wiblin Gibson (Chase) with their children Caiden, Connor, and Kinnley Gibson; and daughter Kirstin Wiblin Reed (Shawn), with their children Remi and Tanner "TJ" Reed. She is also survived by her son Jon Wiblin with his children, son Wes Wiblin (Brittney), with their children Mason and Louis Wiblin; son Ethan Wiblin and son Jaret Wiblin (Sam). She is also survived by her daughter Susanne Wiblin-Stewart (Richard) and their son Wade Stewart (Lauren). She is also survived by her son Tim's children, Timber Wiblin (Adam Daniels) with their daughter Belle Bennett; and Tim's son Abraham Wiblin Cressey with his son Winston Cressey. Nancy is also survived by her brother, Thomas Winans, and her best friend, Connie Grimes.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Tim Wiblin, and her sister, Betty Akers.

Nancy's warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
