Nina Mae Knost

Nina Mae Knost, 83, of Vincent, Ohio, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 11, 1933, in Vincent, to Victor Charles and Nina Jean Nestor Jones.
Nina graduated from Vincent High School, and worked for Worthington Manor Nursing Home for 33 years, retiring in 2006 as a bookkeeper. She was member of the Elizabeth Green Chapter of the Ohio Child Conservation League and attended the Tunnel United Methodist Church. Nina served for several years as the reservation coordinator for the Vincent High School Alumni, and she enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in their sporting activities over the years.
She is survived by five children, Deborah Mae Knost of Marietta, David Lee Knost of Vienna, WV, D. Alan Knost of Marietta, Daniel Clark Knost (Allison) of Belpre, Ohio, and Sandra Jean Hall (Jan) of Vincent; seven grandchildren, Ryan David Knost (Katelyn) of Williamstown, WV, Derek Alan Knost of Marietta, Courtney Dawn Knost of Milwaukee, WI, Jace Daniel Knost (Brooke) of Belpre, Seth William Hall of Vincent, Jared Clark Hall of Vincent, and Bryce Matthew Knost of Belpre; two great grandchildren, Cameron Matthew and Raelyn Danielle Knost of Williamstown; a brother, Roger Nestor Jones of Pinellas Park, FL; a sister in law, Thelma Hope Knost Curtis, of Columbus, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darrell Clark Knost, whom she married on May 3, 1953; and her brother, Gary Charles Jones.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Barlow Central Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
