Patricia Ann Carpenter

Patricia Ann Carpenter, 79, formerly of The Pines at Glenwood, passed with her family by her side Sunday, November 20, 2011, at Harmar Place. She was born August 13, 1932 in Akron to Quaid and Bertha Johnson Pritchard. Patricia was a 1950 graduate of Central High School in Akron and attended Hammel Business College. She had been employed by BF Goodrich, Landmark Foods and Remarks. She was a member of the Sandhill United Methodist Church. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Nancy A. Harris, and grandson, Troy M. Harris, both of Marietta, a brother, William Pritchard (Minnie) of Akron and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Horner officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
