Ralph E. Klemm, 84, of Caldwell died Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Summit Acres Nursing Home. He was born February 27, 1927 in Noble County to George Joseph and Philimina Kilzer Klemm. Ralph graduated Salutatorian of his class of 1945 from Elk Rural High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He had cared for his parents until their deaths. He loved music and had a gifted talent for playing the violin, guitar and harmonica. Ralph is survived by his niece, Marilyn Schaad and her husband, Michael, and their family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Edmund Klemm and wife, Verna, and his sister, Loretta Hendershot and husband, Lawrence. Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Caldwell with the Rev. Wayne Morris as celebrant. The family will greet friends at the church on Saturday morning for two hours prior to his mass. Burial will be in St. Henry's Catholic Cemetery in Harriettsville, with full military rites.
