Regis Edward Huck

Regis Edward Huck 94, of Vincent died the evening of February 28, 2026, at the Rockland Ridge facility in Belpre, Ohio.

He was born October 31, 1931, to the late Leo and Lucy (Brooker) Huck, in Waterford, Ohio. The fourth of twelve children.

He attended Watertown Primary School and graduated from Waterford High School. He is one of the few surviving graduates of the class of 1949.

On September 15, 1953, he married Mary E. Lang. They enjoyed over 69 years of married life together. She preceded him in death on December 30, 2022. He is survived by six children; Bill (Karen), Alan (Peggy), Eugene (Teresa), Fred (Cary), Ann Eichmiller (Jack) and Don (Pam); 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings Herman, Lawrence, David (Barb), Dan (JoAn), Ethel Lee, Clarita Denius and Julia Strahler (Ken).

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his infant son; siblings Ralph, Vincent, Leo and Mary Zwick.

Regis was a farmer all his life, but also worked 30 years at Globe/Interlake in Waterford, Ohio. He was a competent welder, fabricator and mechanic. Regis especially enjoyed resurrecting old two-cylinder John Deere tractors amassing a collection of 26. Several of those tractors were used in his farming operations. He enjoyed farming with his family more than anything.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Churchtown, Ohio with the Rev. David Gaydosik celebrating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with Rosary at 1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to St. John’s School Foundation. The family would like to thank all who participated in his care including The James Cancer Center, Marietta Memorial Health System and Rockland Ridge.
