Ruby Francis Guinther

Ruby Francis Guinther, 86, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at The Arbors, at Marietta. She was born May 29, 1922 in Racine, Ohio to Wilbur and Adena Thomas Bradford. She was a graduate of Racine High School. Ruby had been a waitress for 35 years, having owned the Blue/Gray Restaurant in Pomeroy. She is survived by two sons, Jon J. Guinther of Hilton Head, SC and James Guinther and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Eldon Guinthe, in 1994 and a brother, Ralph Bradford. Abiding with Ruby's wishes, she was cremated and there will be no services. The Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home is assisting the family with her cremation arrangements.
