Shawn Michael Shriver

Shawn Michael Shriver, 59, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. He was born on October 25, 1965, in Marietta, Ohio to John and Joyce Wagner Shriver.

He was a proud graduate of Fort Frye High School, Class of 1984, and the Washington County Career Center, where he completed the Welding Program. He had a successful career as a Plumber/Pipefitter with Pioneer Pipe, where he worked for over 20 years. Shawn was a member of the Plumber & Pipefitters Local 168 in Marietta, Ohio.

Shawn's life was filled with love and laughter, and he cherished spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for working in his garage, making things, riding motorcycles, and going hunting. He also enjoyed partaking in bartering on Facebook Marketplace. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, kindness, and craftsmanship will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sheri Shriver, whom he married on May 12, 1990. He leaves behind his three children, Derek Shriver (Sammie), Dallas Ingram (Whitney), and Brittany Cramer (Joshua), as well as his cherished grandchildren, Maely, Sylvie, Tinley, John Conrad, Zane, NJ, Kenzie, Nora, Tristan, and Maddie. Shawn is also survived by his brothers, Daniel Shriver (Angel) and Darren Shriver; his father-in-law Bob Hendrix and mother-in-law Cheryl Hendrix; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents,, his half-brother, Steven Shriver, and his grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the BARLOW CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOME in Barlow, Ohio, on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will take place two hours prior from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
