Shirley Mae Bradley

Vincent

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Mae Bradley, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who left us peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Born in Calhoun County, West Virginia, on February 28, 1944, to Isaac and Ruby McIntyre, Shirley lived a life full of love, dedication, and warmth.

Shirley was a proud graduate of Calhoun County High School. She had a career as a homemaker and as a dedicated cashier, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and cheerful spirit. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she was a devoted member of the Veto Gospel Tabernacle church. Her loving smile, bright blue eyes, warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Shirley had a passion for decorating her home and found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished her fur babies, Toby and Jonah, and took great care of them during their lives.

She is survived by her loving son, Michael Bower (Paula) of Parkersburg, WV, her cherished stepdaughters, Tracy Bradley and Heidi Hopper; her adored grandsons, James Bower (Laura) and Timothy Bower; and her precious great-granddaughter, Freyja Bower. Shirley also leaves behind her dear sister, Betty Helfeldt (Jack), and her special niece, Pamela Mills (Marv), along with many great nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Harley W. Bradley; her brothers, Bob, June, Dick, and Tom McIntyre; and her cherished dogs, Toby and Jonah.
