Vincent Anthony Roddy

Vincent Anthony Roddy passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the age of 69.

Vincent was born on May 2, 1957, in Marietta, Ohio, twelfth in the line of thirteen children. In 1961, Vincent and his family made a cross-country move to Tujunga, California, where he graduated in 1975 from Royal High School in Simi Valley, California. After high school, he completed an additional 130 hours of Advanced Construction Techniques as well as a Ceramic Tile and Stone Installation training.

Vincent is survived by his loving children: Corene Mckenna, child of Vincent and Laurie, as well as Vincent (Vanessa) Roddy Jr., Courtney (Kambiz Ghassemy Nejad) Kermani, and Benedict (Christian) Roddy, children of Vincent and Kim. He is also survived by his grandchildren Brandon, Sumner, Owen, Evelyn, Shannon, Sean, Babak, Arman, Khashayar, Shahin, Pejmon, Declan, and Cillian. Vincent also leaves behind siblings: Mary Ann Malone (Max deceased), Ben Roddy, Julia Roddy, Harriett Jenkins, and Rita (Steve) Westbrook, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benedict Aloysius Roddy and Mary Eileen Hayes Roddy, infant sister Angela Sue Roddy, and other siblings, Michael Roddy, Margaret Schoen, Daniel Roddy, Alice Valadez, Virginia Roddy, and Shirley Roddy.

A burial service will be held at Barlow Central Cemetery in Barlow, Ohio, on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. David Huffman officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Vincent's life. A small gathering and meal will follow the service, and all are welcome to attend.
