William Carl Hesson, Jr.

William "Bill" Carl Hesson Jr., a beloved father, grandfather, and partner, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on December 9, 1957, in Macksburg, Ohio to the late William Hesson Sr. and Betty Walters Hesson, Bill was a cherished resident of Marietta, Ohio, where he spent his final years surrounded by his family and friends.

He attended Marietta High School, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with dedication and hard work. Following his education, Bill served his country with honor in the United States Army, a testament to his commitment and patriotism.

Professionally, Bill worked in maintenance at various restaurants, where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he was an avid football fan, passionately supporting the Minnesota Vikings and the Ohio State University Football Team. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Bill's warmth, humor, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Bill is survived by his loving significant other, Connie Hardesty, and his four children: Dale Talkington (Teresa Wallace), Andy Hesson (Stacia Seebaugh), Jesse Hesson, and Joey Hesson (Kelci Wise). He also leaves behind a legacy of love in his grandchildren: Aarian, Lexy, Drew, Ivy, Caden, Colton, Lakian, Adylan, Liam, Harrison, and Ambrielle.

A direct cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Bill's memory and the impact he had on those around him.
