William "Bill" "Buckwheat" Lawrence Tullius, 69, of Lowell, Ohio died on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 15, 1954 to Joseph and Dorothy Bolen Tullius.
Bill served in the United States Army from 1973-1977. He then worked over thirty years and retired as an Equipment Operator for Ohio Power. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, cat fisherman, and turtle hunter. He made many turtle clocks from the turtles he caught. Every kid he met received a 50 cent piece. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Fan.
He is survived by his brother, John (Connie) Tullius and sister Cindy Neader; five nieces and nephews, Jamey Brown, Carrie Tullius, Nicole Henniger, Matthew (Rachael) Tullius, Rachel (Joshua Pugh) Neader; nine great nieces and nephews; many extended family members; and close friend and outdoorsman Gregory "Moe" Miller.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Michael "PeeWee" Neader.
Abiding with his wishes, Bill will be cremated with no services at this time. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Marietta Memorial Hospital and Dr. Cawley and her team for their outstanding care.
